Purpose

Symmetry plot.

Synopsis

plotsym(x)

Description

Plotted are the distances above the median versus the distances below the median. In other words, if the distribution is symmetric, then all points should lie on a diagonal line.

Inputs

  • x = matrix (column vector) in which the sample data is stored.
